A professional The Bucks Sport Academy team is committed to providing a high level of performance for students to help achieve their objectives both in their football and academic studies. Our unique football coaching methods offer development and improvement in the physical, technical and tactical understanding of the game.With daily 1:1 sessions, small groups and squad sessions the learning experience is intense and performance based. Video match analysis, nutrition plans and state of the art GPS tracking vests are used to monitor progress and performance. Bucks Sport Academy has nurtured significant contacts within professional and non league academies and has a track record of success in placing students with pro clubs for trials and scholarships both in the UK and abroad. There are also a variety of opportunities in the sport sector including: Sports coach, Physiotherapist, Sports Psychologist, Sports dietician or Personal trainer. Students have taken up apprenticeships or progressed to University, The objective of The Bucks Sport Academy is to help you use your passion for sport to help you achieve your career ambitions, whether that is being a professional football player or working within the sport sector .
Ben Williams – Managing Director
Ben Williams is a qualified UEFA ‘A’ license coach and has a diploma in Sports Studies. Mainly based at Mandeville School in Aylesbury he manages The Bucks Sports Academies 16-19 years sports education programme, this includes coaching the U19 team in the English Colleges league.
Charlotte Steptoe -Head of education
Charlotte manages the National BTEC Sport in “Performance and Excellence” and our Fitness Academy.Charlotte is also a fully qualified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Sam Grace -Tutor & Coach Sam currently coaches at Reading FC’s academy, having previously worked at Wycombe Wanderers. He isa UEFA A license coach and also has completed his Youth Module 3 Award.
Philip Edwards-FA Medical Tutor
An experienced professional Philip has responsibility for “first aid for football”, level 2 and 3 treatment and management of injury and field based sports physiology. He has headed up three physio departments in Professional Football Clubs, delivered the Treatment and Management of Injury courses for the Football Association and currently lectures nationally and internationally.
Jack Hopwood-GK Coach/ Tutor An ex student, Jack completed a summer of soccer coaching in the USA. He is now Bucks Sports Academy Goal Keeping coach and tutor.
