Bucks Sport Academy has an impressive track record placing students with both pro and semi pro clubs for trials and scholarships both in the UK and abroad.
Bucks Sport Academy offers 16‐19 year-old’s a complete Sporting and Football Education. This is an excellent opportunity for any person interested in pursuing a career in football but can also provide opportunities in other sports, and qualifications gained would enable successful students to go on to further studies at University or to seek employment opportunities in a variety of roles within a sporting environment.
Throughout the course students will have the opportunity to be selected to represent the Academy in the Tactic Football League and specially arranged friendly matches against professional clubs. Their progress will be closely monitored, individuals demonstrating the necessary commitment and ability may be recommended to both semi-professional and professional clubs for trials.
Students are continually assessed through the completion of assignments, portfolios and practical coaching assessments.
An overall Distinction in the BTEC Diploma course is equivalent to two A grades at A Level. The BTEC Diploma is worth 240 UCAS points.
In order to be offered a place on the course, students must satisfy the Sports Academy entry requirements of attending an induction day, provide a character reference from current PE Teacher, attend a personal interview and should have an interest in all aspects of sport and a passion for the game. All students will be expected to pay a small joining fee, purchase a full set of training kit, apparel and resource packs (subsidised price approximately £500).

BSA bespoke coaching pathway qualifications : 1st 4sport Level 2 Active Tech or Level 2/3 Multiskills Development in sport, plus
FA Level 1 Award in coaching football
Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid Certificates
Year 3 (optional and by invitation) Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Coaching Sport Level 3 Award in the Principles of Coaching Sport
